Wings created by @macwings

Hi! I’m Gina Bell. The Founder of the She Really Let Herself Go project.

She Really Let Herself Go is a project dedicated to redefining what it means to let go as a woman in today’s world. And how do we support each other from that space of awareness, come back to what we know to be true, and grow from a shared sisterhood of connection? This movement explores just that! This is a photo of Gina wearing the SRLHG wings for the first time in the woods by her house. It had snowed, and it was really cold that day. As she trudged through the snow, she felt the warmth of taking up space in her wings and of remembering the bluebird's song, a special part of this project. She could only spend a few minutes in nature that day, and later reflected on how sometimes we can only take one step at a time back to ourselves. Then, with a vegan hot chocolate on her mind, she ran back to her car, hopped in, and headed back to her house.

Hi! I’m Betsy.

Have you seen Betsy out at an event, floating around in her tulle skirt? She seems to float, like for real. Betsy brings a special energy to this work by the way she connects with people so beautifully. She was one of the first people ever to get a copy of Tears & Tulle when it was first published, and Gina was hand-delivering copies to local buyers. And she's been by her side ever since! She brings these teachings to life and shares so much of her creative journey with Gina and those who follow this work. Also, if you’re lucky enough to meet her, you know how much she cares about women’s empowerment.
